Information you provide

If you register, we process your email and authentication information to create and secure your account. Optional profile details include your display name, username, biography, website and avatar. Saved stories, followed sources or topics, likes and comments are stored to provide those features.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond.

What is public

Comments appear with an author name, avatar and posting date. If you have not set a display name or username, the part of your email before the @ sign is used as the comment name. Uploaded avatars have publicly accessible URLs. Avoid placing private information in comments or avatars.

Cookies & technical information

Authentication cookies maintain your sign-in session. You can remove them through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or prevent account features from working. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and error logs to deliver and protect the service. Registration abuse checks use hashed email and IP identifiers.

Service providers & external websites

Vercel hosts the website and delivers optimized images. Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage. These providers process information needed to operate those services, potentially in countries other than your own.

Some images load directly from publishers or their image providers, which receive ordinary web request information such as your IP address. Opening source links or using social-sharing buttons takes you to services with their own privacy practices.

Keeping & managing information

Account details and saved activity are stored to support your account until changed, removed or addressed through a deletion request. Technical records and backups may remain for security, operational or legal reasons according to the relevant provider’s retention settings.

You can edit your profile, remove saved stories, unfollow sources and undo likes through your account. To request access, correction or deletion of other account information, email hello@noidong.com. We may need to verify that the account is yours. Available privacy rights depend on the law that applies to you.
