From wider seats and extra legroom to better food and service, these are the perks that set Skytrax's top five economy airlines apart. On its Boeing 777-300ERs, economy is arranged nine seats across, in a 3-3-3 layout; many airlines operating the same aircraft fit 10 seats across instead. It ranked fourth for economy seats, third for economy catering and third for inflight entertainment, while Skytrax also named it the world's best airline for cabin crew in 2026.
