Inside A Playfully Renovated 1904 Worker’s Cottage
For homeowners Dean and Fran, the challenge was to open up the home without losing the original details that tell its story. Working within strict heritage constraints, architects Adam Higginbotham and Michiru Cohen of Michiru Higginbotham created a light-filled extension at the rear, tucked discreetly out of sight. The rear extension is an open plan living, kitchen and dining space.
