Lucas Museum of Narrative Art by MAD Architects in Los Angeles

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art occupies a former parking area at the northwest edge of Los Angeles’s Exposition Park. Designed by MAD with landscape architecture by Studio-MLA, the five-story museum combines galleries, theaters, learning spaces, and a public park within a lifted, composite-clad structure shaped around shaded ground-level civic space. The project therefore enters an existing civic landscape rather than establishing an isolated museum enclave.
