Adaptive Reuse Gains Momentum in Pedagogy

Past adaptive-reuse design studios at the University of Washington have included one focused on the school’s former rowing-shell house. “About 10 to 15 years ago, adaptive reuse was a niche part of the curriculum,” says Rick Mohler, chair of architecture at the University of Washington.
