WORKac Suspends a Lecture Hall from a Landmarked Dome at Cornell

The Douglas and Wendy Eisenberg Dome, Cornell University Sibley Dome, a stalwart sandstone structure named for its stately classical top, is the centerpiece between the two wings of Sibley Hall, the current home of the architecture school at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Only now, the auditorium for the College of Architecture, Art and Planning (AAP) is suspended from the dome. The dome, which caps Sibley Hall (above), now houses a lecture hall (top).
