High-Vamp Shoes Are the One Fall Trend Every Fashion Person Is Buying Into

As the temperatures drop and summer sandals get packed away, we have a new trendy shoe style to wear as we stomp through the fall foliage. We're not putting away the autumnal classics—loafers and knee-high boots are still very much in fashion—but this year’s seasonal highlight is a shoe style that hasn't been around in a while: high-vamp shoes. Recognized for its extended vamp (that is, the upper portion of the shoe), the high-vamp shoe lives at the intersection of a ballerina, a loafer, and a mule.
