Mellow Cafe is a 27-square-meter takeaway cafe under construction in Mulhouse, France, organized around a freestanding coffee counter, a tightly programmed retail perimeter, and a street-facing threshold that extends service into a four-square-meter exterior zone. The project uses reflective metal, gridded surfaces, pale-blue markers, and layered lighting to make circulation and service legible within a compact existing shell. It also gives the small interior different visual depths from the street, counter, and retail edges.
